Handle multiple bots from 1 team with external meetings

We'd really love the option to only have 1 bot from our team join any meeting where multiple team members are present.

The only thing that comes vaguely close right now is telling the bot to only join meetings I host, but that doesn't work if meetings are hosted from outside our team (either internally or externally to our customer). It seems like it should be super easy to add a flag just within our own Meetgeek team that is basically "Only allow 1 bot from our team to join any particular meeting" and would save a lot of spam or extra work.

    @Dan Huru I see you marked this complete about a month ago, but how do we implement this. We currently still have multiple bots joining external meetings confusing our customers/partners.

      You can prevent this by adjusting the join settings as shown below.

      Rule of thumb: always give priority to the host.

      • If someone from your org is hosting → bot should join only for the host

      • If nobody from your org is hosting external meetings → choose one specific user who has Join all external meetings enabled
        (this avoids multiple bots joining the same call)

      You can configure this yourself from the settings, or if needed,

        how will this work when we have multiple members who join external meetings separately and then when they join together? You will want each of them to have joined all when they join separately, and then, when they join together, there are multiple recordings, right? Isn't it easier on your side to have a setting: one recording per team, and then the first one who joins has it?
